List calendar events in Excel

A month of events as a table, or a count of meetings: drop the calendar file and get a list in date order.

Steps

  1. In Google Calendar use Settings > Import & export > Export (in Outlook, Save Calendar) to get an .ics file.
  2. Drop the .ics file. Titles, start, end, place and notes become columns, in date order.
  3. Save as Excel. Hand it to Totals for counts by place or month.

Questions

Why do some times say UTC?
Those events are stored in universal time; add your time zone's offset.
